Steve has Anderson somewhere in his lineage.. his gggranny(Ms Bruce) conveniently gave all of her offspring middle names from the family, hence one of them is Alexander Anderson Fairweather,, we are looking for the connections for these names..... I really enjoy ancestry work.. steals away hours
Incidentally to digress from hello's ..does anyone know where the name Prophet comes from as a female name.. the above gentlemans youngest sister was Stewart Prophet Fairweather known to my ma-in-law as "Auntie Stewart".. I thought Stewart strange for a girl but there you go....

What a nice bunch of people, thanks for the welcome .. John, though I live in Wales I am a Lancashire lass myself, (have never acknowledged the government moving our town into Greater Manchester County,..@Richard...it is a handful isnt it, that little town , dunno if the name is an invention, dont think so, but its mostly just called Llanfair PG
