I do believe the midlothian pipe band is having a fundraiser at fitz's spare keys elmhurst. The 8th. But that's not tartan day. So I don't know what to do. Pub crawl would b ideal.

Chicago scots had that pub crawl in elmhurst, wife and I went, had a great time, was looking forward to the next year... it was no more... no announcement it was nixed, I wonder if this tartan day pub crawl has met the same guillotine?

I wouldn't make it down to the Duke on a weeknight. My trips to the city are few.

Something closer would work, but please DO NOT PLAN AROUND ME. Celebrate Tartan Day as you see fit and if it works for me to join you, I will.

I will gladly go have some drinks at the claddagh for tartan day if anyone is up for it. I only say the claddagh cause it's conveniently located near home and feel a gathering is needed on such a day. If anyone was going to the duke of Perth for tartan day I would make a real strong effort to get there. If we can't get together happy tartan day

Hoffman Estates has a Celtic Fest held at the Sears Center. A couple of us got together for it last year and we had a good time.
