New member starts an X-Kilt

Hi everyone. I just registered here at X. I found this forum by searching the web for a pattern to sew my own kilt that I can wear out hiking and backpacking.

Seems like the X-Kilt will be my first try, so I registered in the forum too.

I am making it out of "digital camo" since the material was on sale for 70% off at my fabric store, and being a first attempt, cheap is good. Looks like it's going to work out OK for me.

I have gotten to the step where I am top stiching the outer pleats from the hem to the fell, and have 5 done so far, but it is 2:30AM so I better leave the rest for tommorrow.

Thanks for the great pattern, and fine looking forum. I'll post pics if anyone wishes.

Welcome to the forum, discovered this forum just recently for the same reason. Ive made 2 kilts from the pattern, and found it relatively easy and much cheaper. Yes post the pic's.
