A belated welcome from (currently) sunny West Sussex. If you do not feel at home here, you will not feel at home anywhere!
Whilst I have been disappointed with my latest WTC experience, I would not write them off altogether - in spite of the fact that they STILL only want two measuremnts to tailor the cilt. I might just order from them again, BUT I would need to see and carefully examine a full 8 yarder in a heavier weight before doing so.
WTC have much to commend them - they are responsible for the revival (?) of interest in family tartans in Wales, and in the promotion of cilt wearing in modern times, but I would like to see them taking the matter of cilt-making more seriously.

Hi Folks,
Thanks again for the great welcome. My Lloyd cilt arrived yesterday. Finally after a horrendous number of false starts. When I asked, via the guy supplying me with the complete outfit for the WTC to send me a swatch of the actual Lloyd tartan. I received over a period of several weeks Pride of Wales and Howell swatches in error. Naturally this didn't give me much confidence in the WTC. This, unfortunately was backed up when the cilt arrived. The overall quality was acceptable but was 2 " too large and has been sent back for adjustment. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement.
On the bright side the rest of the outfit the Argyle jacket, waistcoat, sporran, belt with Celtic buckle and shoes are all spot on ( all made in Scotland!).
I echo Hamish's sentiments as to what the WTC have done for welsh cilts and tartans, but to my mind what they are doing is being spoiled by a lack of attention to detail.
I'm looking at buying another cilt, but this time I've asked for the material to be sourced from Wales and the cilt /Kilt to be made in Scotland.
Anyway, I'll will defiantly post a photo when the cilt comes back next week. but at the moment I look as if I'm using some agricultural twine to hold my cilt up !
All the best
Mike

Sounds like you might be having a little problem with them. Hope it works out. Still!
