Man, I wouldn't want to cross my mother when she gets upset. But I couldn't imagine her doing that.

This thread got a lot more positive responses that I imagined. That's a good thing though. Yeah, the biggest shock of it was the fact that it's no secret mom was pretty "wild" in her youth. But, I'd have never thought in a million years I'd see mom throw a stranger the bird. lol. I still laugh about it even tonight.

I have to say that's pretty hilarious. ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
My mom was pretty crazy at my age from what I hear, and even today, if you make her mad, especially in regard to me(her only kid), it's not pretty. Her tongue is sharp and her temper Scotch-Irish... ![Rolling Eyes](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
And I almost forgot, good on your mom, you need to give her a big hug and a box of licorices

Good on your mom!
One of my mother's sayings was, "a lady is never unintentionally rude." That said, she probably would have lifted her pinkie at them (that's for when you don't want to send your very best).
She was always willing to be intentionally rude when it was warranted.
