It is good to have the guinea pig,isn't it... aka Tommy Hunt in my case... who is my model for kilt hose. I'm knitting him eight pair-that should do for awhile, well, until I find yet another pattern I must make!! So far I'm favoring Swish Dk to knit the heavier ones.

Thanks for pointing to the pattern, I've got Mother hard at work on a pair for Bob I can sew, but knitting escapes me. We found a lovely variegated creamy wool 4-ply at Joann, she's got the first cuff done already!
