The museum's collection had a lot of what you might expect - all interesting and significant - arranged by period and geographic location.

The games in Perth had more competitions than any I've seen. They had Drum Majors and individual piping and band competitions as well as throwing heavy objects and dance. They also had foot races, bicycle racing and tug-of-war. There were multiple events going on in many places at once. Really great.

At the end as people mobilized for massed bands they had to balance competing priorities. Lots of alcohol was consumed. Some confusion, naturally, resulted, and a good time was had by all.







As the beer tent emptied out for the third wave of pipers and drummers, the bin filled up!
