I am kilted up this Kilt Friday. My weight has been fluctuating in recent months, so wearing a kilt once a week helps me to ensure that all my kilts still fit.
Today's kilt is the XMarkstheScot tartan from Freedom Kilts.

The good wife and I were able to get out and do some hiking. First sunshine in several weeks, and 45 degrees. What a great day to spend kilted.

Kyle,
Looking good in the kilt. I assume that the "good wife" took the photo. But I have to ask; were those your kids with you?
Have a great new year.

Aye, the wife is my willing paparazzi, and the two pups are our "kids." Well, she'll claim the little shepherd mix, but the idiot boy cur is all mine. The best in the New Year for you also.

Went out to run a few errands and indulge in some post-Christmas Day shopping. Picked up a pair of black double-monk strap shoes by Steve Madden and a pair of burnished cordovan oxfords with brogued toes by Deer Stags--the latter look great with my McKenzie Weathered kilt, my Black Stewart kilt and the one I was actually wearing, my Scottish National. As I was trying on the shoes, I noticed an older lady smiling at me approvingly and when our eyes met, of course, she couldn't help but compliment me on my kilt. When I got to the checkout line, I was met by a handsome, stylish, zaftig blonde who told me she was Irish and absolutely couldn't stop gushing about how she loved my kilt, and said to the other shoppers nearby, "Only REAL man wear those", etc. I felt like proposing to her right there on the spot. Kilted Friday Adventure indeed!
Best Regards,

It's Friday and another windy day out taking pictures. No worries about the kilt and the wind but stopping the camera blowing over was an issue.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

My first kilted Friday of the year, today Jan 2nd, 2015. I went to "Wally-World" 5:30 am without another sole in the store, except the crew that gawked a good bit. Maybe the security cameras have me on film as I forgot to bring my own. It was fun anyway.
