Sr Heidi
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Having read all the pages before, there is little i can add. My father died in my arms and even with all the CPR, he had left. I was so sad yet I knew he went with peace and love, what more could I wish for him? Take the love you had for her and let it soothe the hurt from you feel of your lose. To everything there is a a season; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance, (Ecclesiastes 3; 4)

My dear Sister Heidi,
I am so sorry for your loss of your very special friend, it is so much worse when it is completely unexpected. You are in my thoughts.
Sister Joan sounds like an amazing woman, and your friendship sounds as though it was very special. So yes I will raise my glass to Sister Joan, and the toast will be "To an amazing woman and very special friend".
Then I will raise my glass to your special friendship, and the toast will be "May you have many more very special friendships in your life". Because I know that is what Sister Joan would want.
There is a place in my heart for you Sister Heidi.
God bless
Peter

Dear Friends,
Thanks so much for all of your loving messages.
After four days, I'm still devastated, heart-broken, and crying, yet I know that Joanie is in a perfect place...just way too soon for my heart!
God bless.

P.S. It gives me a smile and I know that she is smiling in seeing all of you great folks AROUND THE ENTIRE WORLD(!) remembering her, and raising a glass.

Dear Sister-
My prayers to you for your loss. I wish you peace and comfort during this time- As others have said, Sister Joan is resting amongst the Angels of Heaven and has been welcomed home with opened arms by the Master Himself.
A friend once told me "Don't let the world leave it's mark upon you, but rather leave your mark upon the world". From the eloquent words that your shared with us about Sister Joan, it sounds like she left her mark upon world and upon the many lives that she touched.
God bless-

Ditto.
Wish I'd said that.
