Actually, We discussed bi-annual weekends to include one year in North America and one year in the UK, so if and when this ever takes off, the next poll will probably reflect the best location on your side of the pond.
Great Pics Pour1malt...You are definitely one of the kilted spokesman.
Happy Holidays,

Yeah, I like that idea; maybe in a couple of years the U.S. dollar will recover against the pound & euro...
My $0.02 worth (£0.009799), Chicago - central location in North America, major transportation hub, plenty of accomodations, good mass transit, great food, large Celtic community, lively music scene, major arts & cultural center, local Highland Games (20-21 June 2008)

I say FL besides the fact that I am in FL we have the best weather, and beaches, it is cheap in the summer if you wanted to do it then or it would be nice and warm in the winter it is 78 today and was never less than 72 all week. Sorry midwest guys in the snow
I know there are a lot of us down south so we would have a good turn out I would think

And didn't all the wild highland fling dancing start when some Scottish explorer wandering around Florida got a mosquito up his kilt??

OK, I have the perfect place. The Pleasant Valley Fire Hall in beautiful downtown Pleasant Valley, Maryland. We have an airport close by, Plenty of parking, restrooms. and a good stage. A kiltchen on site, And beer taps. There are several pipe bands in the area, and plenty of sightseeing possibilities. Golfing, of course is readily available. What more does any one want or need?
