Grandfather Games

I'm going to be coming on Sunday, minus my kilt though. I did not realize that I would be in town while the games are going on, so I left it back in Georgia.

Alas, I did not have a camera this time out, but prepare yourself for pics of very soggy campers. Friday and Saturday were sunny and warm, but the rest was rather wet!

No camera here, either, but I was ina couple of photos.

The weather was indeed splendid until about 2 PM Sunday when we bugged out. Drove through several huge storms on the way home. I'm sure the campers did get blasted pretty hard.

I only made it to one of the meetups and was late for that. My son broke his foot at the wrestling clinic and it put a kink in things. It was great to meet you X-markers I did find though. Some of my pics are posted on the photo thread also.

Had a grand time on the mountain. Any idea what happened to Clan Campbell? No tent, not in the parade of tartans.

As I understand it, Clan Campbell had two conveners in NC and both
moved away since last year. I think that the conveners pay for that out of their own pocket. So It looks as if no one stepped up to fill their shoes.
