I was talking to him the other day, he said he would talk to the Rite in regards to the menu, I think I'll get back to him on Monday, Tuesday at the latest. If we can have a god idea of numbers for next week I think that would help.

Could you ask Lisa to do the Reply to the toast to the lasses? We still need a lass to do it.

Ah, Mexpiper... This one's on the 25th, the Friday night, at the Scottish Rite in Hamilton. I have one on the 19th and another on the 26th as well.
btw... are you up to piping this one? I don't mind if you do. For some reason, my wife of no Scottish heritage, doesn't like me practising in the hoose and it's been a wee bit cold on the fingers to find a remote place outside.

I have a friend in Kingston who might be interested in attending one of them. Sorry, I'm unclear about the geography up there. Would any be near there?

Kingston is a lovely town, I spent a weekend there in a grueling Coast Guard competition. It is, however, about 4 hours East of Hamilton, 3 hours east of Toronto. We do have a member in the Kingston Area, Supreme Canuck.

Of course they are, by all means.

I am about 40 min from Kingston.. there are a few Burns dinners here, but we use to have a really nice one that was held at our local legion. Sadly the gentleman who ran it passed away a few years ago. Since then our poor city has not had an "Official Burns Supper"*
A few restaurants are having them in the surrounding area. Let me know if anyone needs to find one between Kingston and Ottawa!
