Is that a piper I hear in the distance???? It sounds as if it is calling the clan together to do battle!!! Is Victoria ready for the invasion? Film at 11!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Hey there Big Mikey, can you repost the timings for the events on Friday please? Just so I know how to plan any other travel that day. Although I'm sure I'll be sitting on Steve's porch when he unlocks the doors that morning ( if the wife will let me LOL )

The tentative schedule for The Ultimate Kilt Night:
10:00AM to 4:30PM
Stop by Freedom Kilts shop and harass Steve so he gets nothing done. He needs to focus on Kilt Night.
5:00PM to 6:15PM
The Passing of the Torch ceremony, cocktails and appies at the Xmarksthescot.com hospitality suite (The Royal Scot Hotel, room 428)
6:15PM to 6:30PM
Piped procession to the Victoria Harbour House restaurant for a sumptuous repast.
9:00PM or so to ??????
Return to the hospitality suite for a nightcap and some good story swapping or proceed to a fine Victoria establishment that serves adult beverages.
And to those that have asked, yes, there will be maple whisky!

Mikey,
Is there a set time for "Poking the Curmudgeon"?
Or is this going to just fall within the 10:00 to 4:30 general "Bug Steve" time?
I'd like to remind everyone that "Poke a Curmudgeon" is properly sung to the tune of Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries"
(Are you feeling the love Steve? )
Cheers

If I leave the restaurant by 7:30, I should be able to make the 9pm ferry, right?

That should leave you more than enough time but why not spend the night and catch the first ferry in the morning?

If I stay the night, I probably won't be taking the first ferry home.
