Re: The Action Kilt Pic Challenge
I've got a million "living history" pics, but went back and found an older one ("Culloden" reenactment, Milford, NY, 1999):

And a local hike in a Newsome box-pleat and baseball cap:

Secret of kilted horseback riding is the same as for driving a car - sweep the pleats and sit on the back of the underkilt and kilt.
And, if ever a man needs FREEDOM its on the back of a horse!

Dancing at the Robert Burns Supper in Franklin last year.

This may bend Alan's rules a little bit... we were outside doing a "photo shoot" to show off my new Harris Tweed sheriffmuir doublet. But this is a "behind the scenes" shot of me shooing one of our roosters away so we could get on taking photos.

Visiting a certain lady of stature on Tartan Day last year.

Just hanging out with a little blonde chick.

Enjoying a nice fall day in the back yard.

Last but certainly not least, marrying my bride just over 11 years ago!

Re: The Action Kilt Pic Challenge
KW,
I have to check with some of our more knowledgeable members, but I don't think it is customary to wear both the body armor and a belt and waist plate at the same time. I believe a person usually forgoes one when wearing the other...or maybe that's just with evening wear.
