I've got the quaich (inherited) and plenty of scotch. This year, it will be a can of haggis at home, and maybe some poetry reading to my wife.

Burns night? Yes, but at home I would assume.

Our lodge's Burns night is going virtual also. I have a quaich and good whisky but I may opt for that tinned haggis, if I can't find any at World Market.

I proposed to my spouse on a Burns Night. I will find a real haggis for her (she is a fan) lockdown or no, though. I wonder if our local Scottish baker is officially an "essential service"? No canned haggis is allowed in her presence.
Those ancient U Nialls from Donegal were a randy bunch.

My wife has approved me making a ground lamb version. She is not a fan of offal like I am. I did find an online recipe with lamb and chicken livers. If there are left over chicken livers, my dog and I can share them for lunch. Boy do dogs love chicken livers!

I have a haggis in the freezer but that probably won't make it till Burns night so more will have to be bought.
The sailing club Burns night will almost certainly be cancelled as we are in near lockdown at the moment.
What will I do for the night ..I have no idea at the moment..
