Hrm, I may just make this. Thanks for posting the info because I'll be up in portsmouth on the 24th to celebrate my birthday (the 25th, the same day as burns' birthday) with my family. And I love the redhook brewery too =D Used to eat there all the time when i lived up there.
I'll contact you in a bit when I find out for sure!

I hope this works for you. It would be great to have a rabbler there! If not, lets plan on getting together another time soon. I'm in Fitchburg, Mass - not that far away. The new British Beer Company in Framingham is open and would be a good take.

Hey, I'll definitely be there now. I just finalized my plans so I'll be up there that weekend and crashing at my folks on their couch that night before going back to RI sunday. I dropped off my check and registration form in the mail this evening, but it probably wont go out until tomorrow morning's post. I'm assuming that it's being sent to you, since it's going to Fitchburg =)

I wish I could make it but things financially more than a little tight right now. As it gets closer things may loosen up and I could reconsider. I did put a list of other NE events on another post.

My wife and I are definitely considering heading up for this; what's the dress code (besides "kilted")?

No idea, but i'll go in my finery, being a burns night and all. I'd rather be over dressed with a vest and doublet than under dressed =)

Justin - I'll have your tickets held at the door for you and will add you to the headcount at the Redhook! You are correct; your mailing will come to me.
Tim - As for attire, Burns' Nights do tend to be dressed-up affairs and kilts with Prince Charlies, etc are pretty much the norm but you will see people more casually dressed and also most likely there will be a number of gentleman sans kilts with blazers and ties. Let me know if you decide to go and I will make ticket arrangements for you. And if not, I hope we meet at another time soon!!
