Tonight was the annual Little Apple Brewery customer appreciation night, an evening when the restaurant is only open to invited gusts and loyal customers. The finger food and beer is all FREE

Since this will be my last customer appreciation night I decided to get Russ and Kelly a small gift of five east and west coast brewery beer coasters of places I have visited set in a nice frame with a brass name tag with my name and mug number. They were both ecstatic at the gesture of the gift, and I failed to get a picture of the three of us holding the frame.

The Little Apple is like stepping into the set of Cheers and yes, everybody does know your name here. I will truly miss this place, a second home to me with great beer and a wonderful group of staff and loyal customers.

I decided to wear my Wallace Sport Kilt with white dress shirt and a simple black tie with the Irish Brigade pin as a tie clip, no one got the connection. I figured that the white shirt and tie can dress up a pair of jeans so a kilt should be simple.

Since it was somewhat of a festive occasion I used my rabbit fur dress sporran instead of my usual black leather sporran, all in all I thought the ensemble came out rather nicely.

Oh, and since my co-worker’s plane was delayed in Florida I still had to baby-sit Blue and the fish, so this is Blue greeting me at the door.
