    Black Bear

I guess this would be my really casual look.
My Black Watch Bear kilt paired up with a new black sweater and new boots.

    Al,
I still say you need a wool 'Loud' Macleod to go with your bike!

I am suprised that you don't already have a black sweater

If I looked half-decent in yellow I'd certainly consider it. However, I think I look pretty scary in yellow. It would look good with the bike though. Right now I'm saving for one of your 8-yd Maple Leafs.

Hehehe!! I'm sorry. really I am!
That was the other sweater I found on sale at Sears last week. It's more of a super-dark blue than black, but it works well together I think. Hamish should be along shortly to offer his professional opinion on this particular look.

As far as the black sweater look goes, I'm a big fan. I think sweaters look great with kilts!

    I agree!

If nothing else, they're great for being seen in traffic!

I think my "Loud MacLeod" is my favorite stage kilt.

Don't know about the traffic Jimmy, might blind the other drivers.
Honestly, I do think it's a great looking tartan. Al, the biggest problem people have with color is what it does to the skin tone of their face. I can't wear teal or lighter greens anywhere near my face, it makes me look dead...
A kilt however is far enough away that you could proabally get away with it. Just a thought.
