I'm finally kilted!
I had the dubious pleasure of picking up my four yard Hunting Stewart Bear kilt from the post office yesterday. This is my very first kilt, so up until now I've never ever had a kilt on. And I have to admit that I was a little nervous when first putting it on. You know, I had all of those questions running through my mind. "Were all of the stories true? Is it really as comfortable as they say? Do women really go nuts over men wearing these things?" Kilts have quite a bit of mythology to live up to when you think about it.
So I strap this thing on, and let me tell you I only have one thing to say about it.
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhoooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! !!!!!!
OK, so all of the stories are true. I've never been this comfortable in my life. I don't think I've ever looked this good dressed in anything else either. And my wife....you know...liked it. I mean really liked it.
And I'd also like to publicly thank Bear not only for this fantastic piece of clothing, but for going out of his way to get everything just right. In a time when I've nothing but skepticism for everything involved in customer satisfaction, Bear has proven to me that it does indeed exist. Thank you Bear. (My wife thanks you too.)

Congrats Aaron.
A Bear kilt is a great way of starting a kilt collection.
Now what kilts next on the list.......

Aaron,
First off congratulations on getting such a fine kilt.
You have taken the first and hardest step toward having a kilt addiction I mean collection
Secondly, time to use the old camera and get a photo
up for all to see. :P

Great. Now I'm really depressed. I got an email from Bear about his now 6month wait, and then I see this. I'm dying to get kilted myself, and I love Bear's work from the pics.

Strapping on that first kilt is a real rush. My first was a Bearkilt and I remember how it felt to rip open the package and to drop my pants to "don the kilt".
Congratulations. Wear it proudly.
For those of you that are waiting for a Bearkilt, I would say, "Grit your teeth and hang on." I have waited for two and I am in the process of waiting for my third. Well worth it.
