Kilt shopping.
Sweet Jesus in the morning, I swore up and down that once I got my first kilt I'd try to be satisfied. Now I'm sitting here at work browsing kilt makers online searching for a deal. I promised myself I wouldn't do this! Moreover I promised my checkbook I wouldn't do this. What the heck is so compulsive about kilts?
So what do you guys think, Scottish National or Gordon?

Whatever you do, don't listen to the Candy Man. Every time I talk to the man, I end up jonesing for another kilt. And poor me, I'm going to be seeing him every day for the next three or four days. Pray for me!

Oh yeah. I'm definitely thinking about USA kilts since their turnaround time is so low. It's about as close to instant gratification as you can get in the kilt world.
Instant buzz. Kind of like crack. Almost as expensive a habit.
I've got to get up there and visit the store anyway.

Coatesville isn't all that far away. Come to the music festival at Valley Forge this weekend and come visit the USA Kilts booth (which I think is supposed to be back-to-back with the Highland Tide booth). Rocky & Kelly are going to have a bunch of pre-made philabegs at the booth for instant gratification. I bought one of them a week ahead of the festival (couldn't wait!)

I'm going to try to get up to the festival on Saturday. It would be great to meet to meet that many folks from the board all in one place.
As for the pre-made kilts, that could mean instant gratification for me, and a rolling pin from the Mrs. for zeroing out the checking account.

One reason to avoid the checkbook and do like I've done. "Mastercard, it's every kilt you want to get." Bwahahaha... As soon as I pay mine off, I'll get another dozen or so kilts.
