Camp Verde...
Ron,
You're making me "homesick" now; when I was a kid I always bugged my grandparents and parents to stop at Camp Verde when we were on vacation, or traveling along I-17...I LOVED going to Fort Verde, since I was into military history and the Indian Wars...
Cheers,
Todd

So, two birds with one stone...come on out!
Camp Verde makes me homesick for the hot springs down river...especially the cave...

Busted out on the Las Vegas Games so gonna endeavor to make the Camp Verde, AZ games next weekend.
Didn't hear anything from anyone else headed for Las Vegas games...so guess its even more unlikely that anyone will be at the Camp Verde Games...
Hollar if you are.

Sure thing. Welcome to the board too.
You aren't by chance a piper who piped at some men's gatherings back in the 90's are you?
I'll bring the Arizona Flag Tri-color kilt, might wear it for the drive down before I change into my "gang colors." Look for the green on green Macdonald Lord of the Isles tank and my ugly mug, both of which are in my gallery. Will be with a red haired lady.
Sorry I won't be able to make the Prescott Games next month, will be hiking Havasupai and made those reservations before I found a flyer on the Prescott Games.

Okay just back from the Camp Verde Highland Games...only their second annual but well done. Not large, but not too small either. Had a great time.
Worth putting on your schedule for next year if you're in the area.
Connected with THISLPT and his lovely wife, the took a close look at the Arizona Flag Tri-color Pittsburgh Kilt.
Spent too much money but came away with a bunch of plunder including Clan Cameron and Clan Gordon t-shirts...
Can't afford the kilts yet so got the t-shirts
