Our trip up to the Waterfall Country in the Brecon Beacons National Park went of well last weekend. Sixteen of us went in the end, I being the only kilted member. The idea was to take some more band photo’s. I’ve attached a few pictures. The first one of me before we left home … it had given out rain. The second one at one of the parking areas as we were getting ready to start off to the first waterfall which was about a 45 min hike. The third one, trying to organise ourselves at the top of one of the waterfalls and the last one, a shot by our ‘photo man’ at yet another waterfall. The sun came out when we arrived in the area and it turned out a really nice warm day. We had a great pub lunch in this really quaint inn which was full to the brim with walkers out for the day. Throughout the whole of the day and with all the people we met my kilt was never a topic of conversation with anyone. Derek [/img]

Great photos Derek, thanks for sharing them. You look very much at home and comfortable kilted in the forest. It reminds me of numerous folks who have seen me hiking and said I "looked the part". This is simply because the great outdoors and kilts go together like peaches and cream! just as your photos prove!
Derek, As usual wonderful shots. Truly relaxing just looking at them.
