    More on my new solid

My wife took this photo, just to show off the new solid from R Kilts, and also to share the beauty of our local beach, it is just 5 mins drive (20 mins walk) from our property.

Graham, I have mixed feelings on solids, but that looks fantastic. It's a good look with the sweater and the vest. Everything is all nice and earthy coloured. A good look indeed.

Very You Graham . I'd have gone for oatmeal or maybe rust coloured hose I think.

Graham, I keep trying to save my money and you keep tempting me with pics of this solid. Robert crafted you a keeper, that's for sure.

BTW, was that vest a shelf item at USA Kilts?

Nice looking kilt, Graham. I was able to visit Tazmania for a brief bit when my ship visited while I was in the Navy and vowed to someday get back there. That pic just renews the vow..

    Graham,

You look great! A man in a kilt with a dog at his side, ocean in back, wife taking a picture and what else do I see? Pure contentment

    Kilt Wilter
Nobody is more doubtful about solids than me, but this kilt has converted me. My preferred kilt though, is still tartan.

David I agree about the hose, this was just a quick walk along the beach, I didn't think too much about colour.

Mike Well spotted on the USAK badge, no, I took it off a kilt and put it on my jacket. It's just a polarfleece type vest, but a brand I cannot buy anymore, had it years.

Verlyn Thanks, it is lovely here, but if I see Tasmania spelled with a "z" any more
I recently got a mention in the New World Celts magazine, of which I am now a regular contributor, they keep on spelling it the same!!!

Glen you're right, what more could a man want?
I am very content with my lot in life, and a good kilt makes everything just that little bit better.

Oh man! Say what you want about solid kilts... but that one's REAL nice! The match with the vest is too cool to be true!

Cetain people can just wear that stuff and look right. You were meant to have that!

How about a tartan neckerchief for the dog?

Thanks for the compliment Jimmy, not sure about the dog idea, she has no clan associations, not sure what tartan to get her
