Hell-o all,

How has your kilted world been of late?

Today in Denver we had a big party, and depending who you talk to and to which media you believe it is called any number of these things Crass, Commercialism at its finest, a Zoo, People meeting people, Diversity Festival, Pride, An Outrage, or any other things of things that I will not repeat, as this is a public forum. What I call it is a place where people of all faiths, politicians of all slants, concerned citizens, coming together at the public square (downtown Denver) for some fantastic dialogue! Oh yes there is a lot of fun involved, but dialogue is the key. Who you really are is important.

OK I am getting to the kilt relevance now. I have been involved in this sort of thing for about 10 years now. The last 3 years I have been kilted of course, happily and with much joy in my heart. This year I was sad with the fact I had very few comments on my kilt, alas this is a good thing as I did notice that many other gents were donning kilts. Seeing all those other kilted gents was such a tremendous thing. Kilts at a place that is not primarily a Celtic function, they truly are accepted garments!
