St. Jacob's, Ontario
I know there's a couple of people from near here. I was in St. Jacob's yesterday, July 13. Went into store called St. Jacob's Antique Market on Spring Street and they had some good stuff. I bought a tailor made tweed day jacket in Lovat green in mint condition for $60 ($500 at B-S), my exact size, brag, brag. They had another one that had a Harris tweed label that was about twice the price. But there was an old kilt there for $40. Scottish made, brown tartan, sporran wear holes, and buttons for suspenders/braces (?), probably a 32" waist and 24" length. About halfway home I started regretting not buying it so I thought I'd pass the info on.

London, I hope I made it clear that it was old and worn, still I think it had some more value than $40. It would have been too small for me and I would have posted it here or ebay.

Almost makes you want to make a pact to pick up any reasonably priced kilt second hand and post it at cost/shipping on the site here. I've actually passed that mandate onto my thrift store shopping wife: buy any (men's) kilt you come accross, I'll find someone who wants it!
