    David,

You do have a way to make one feel that they are right next to you. Excellent tales and wow what great pictures!

    I'll second that Gman.
David, you have done a wonderful job of letting us tag along on this trip.
It brings back such fond memories of my trip last year.

Hi David .. Great stories and pictures .. thanks for sharing them with us all. I cannot seem to go beyond your steam train page. When I hit 'next' it says page unavailable. So as yet I have'nt been able to read your day out in darkest sussex. Still, I'm really pleased you had a great time.
    Take care

    Sorry about that.
I titled the page using a Norwegian letter not found in the English alphabet. it maybe that which is the problem (I don't know)I re-named the page so try again and let me know how it goes

Excellent narrative of your trip and great pictures, David. I'd love to make a trip there some day.

I have to agree with Riverkilt! I'm an experienced camper but 3 weeks in Scotland under canvas? I take my hat off to you! We had 1 day of sun in the 5 we were there. As for 'Glenbogle' gatehouse, the entrance was full so we couldn't stop without getting shunted from the rear by drivers speeding along that stretch.
I travelled with my wife for our anniversary (and as she had a voucher to go dolphin watching). I enjoyed a snifter of Ardbeg after my dinner - only to find that in my merry haze I had picked the 30 yr old at £16.50 a shot! It was sublime but curtailed my sampling others there as I had blown my budget.
Glad you all had a great time.
I always think it is good to know you didn't manage to do everything. That way you know you have to go back!
    Phil
