Braemar Gathering, Scotland Sat 3 Sept

Are there any members going to these Games ? These are the Games attended by HM Queen. I expect to be camping in Ballater for a few days priorto the games. Great fun drinking in the pubs with the Queen's soldiers.

I wished I were going to the gathering. My clan's castle is there. If you get a chance drop in at Lamont's Sporrans and say hello to Davie (the older).

Hi Kiltman. That is my clan's castle, too ! We had the Clan Farquharson Gathering just 2 weeks ago, in Ballater, near Braemar. David Lamont has retired and the shop is run by another keen sporran-maker.
