Sounds like good news ...anything to get the tourists in

Norway from my point of veiw is a land of heavy taxation ok where isn't today. It is an expensive land to live in which is both a positive and a negative. ....Oh blimy! here I go I'll stop before I have to moderate myelf

I'd like to have read the artical Graham so I could comment a little further but it just leads to a software site.
    All the Best.....David.

    If you're a reindeer!

    Just kidding David.
My favorite Olympics to watch was the year that they were in Lillehammer. That whole event was so bare of commercial exploitation, and was more about the sport... and I'll never forget it. It was the complete opposite of the Atlanta Summer Games that had "Official Olympic Condoms" (I kid you NOT!).

I would like to visit Norway some day, but think I'll wait until August so that I can truly enjoy it.

Sorry about the taxes... but now for the REAL question:

What are you paying for a gallon/liter of gasoline these days?

We Pay about 12 Nrk for a litre for our petrol thats about $1.87 a litre I think.

We'd love to have you vist Norway Jimmy. Bring lots of money as Guinness costs $4 a can at the supermarket a pint of beer will cost you around $9.

By the way it's not a good land for Reindeer... WE EAT THEM and then make sporrans from the left overs.

...So if your Christmas presents are late this year.......
