My wife worries about me
Just the other day she told me she was getting concerned about my "obsession" with kilts.
I says to her, Oh, I'm not obsessed. I only own four kilts.
....and I'm making my first one. Well, OK, I have material for a tartan vest. And I've paid up for the X Marks kilt material. And there's a new kilt pin on my "get started early Christmas List".
And I wear one two-three days a week, and to essentially all "special occasions".
But I'm not "obsessed"...................................
right?

well, anybody that's starting their Christmas list already is obsessing over Christmas....
try putting "suit" into each time you say kilt in your post and it sounds "normal". Personally, I think only an undertaker needs more than one black suit.

Don't worry Alan, my wife says exactly the same thing, I tell her it's because I'm a passionate, romantic guy, and it's better than being obsessed with a younger woman.
That usually keeps her quiet for a while

Obsession
I counted the other day... I have 20.
Tell your wife you're fine.

Alan,
Tell your wife that we will worry for you, that she doesn't have to.
My main worry is that you do not have enough kilts!

It's only "obsessed" if you accept it's a bad thing.
People have a glass of orange juice every day: are they obsessed with orange juice?
No, they have a healthy appetite for something which is good for them.
You could always ask why your wife is obsessed with shoes. Said the single guy.

No! your not obsessed,
Wait until she starts noticing that you take a little more care when clothes shopping and (Always buy things with the kilt in mind) Taking a little more notice about how you look before going out.
Kilts do things to us .........Obsession..........no.......Not really....not me ..I can stop anytime I want to...I can. Just you watch me..................................
Ok I tried. I give in ...kilts it is then ;)

My wife's OK with the kilts.
In-laws, apparently, are convinced it's a mid-life crisis, or I'm having an affair.
Guess I am . . . .

Any obsession is a serious matter. But fear not... the xmarksthescot treatment center has many advisors that know just what to do.
OK, so what's her obsession... shoes, earings, slacks, etc.
same difference.
