New to the forum
Just found this site and as someone with highland blood who wears a kilt now and then, thought I would join in. My ancestry is Clan MacQuarrie, have traced it back to the Alpin, first king of the scots. Living in a climate quite similar to the Highlands themselves, the Pacific Northwest. At this point in time am considering a legal name change to reflect my scottish ancestry.

Welcome aboard! You shouldn't have too hard a time finding company in the PacNor'west-it seems to be a hotbed of kilt activism.

WELCOME!
Change your name, change the baby, change the color of the walls in your house, but do NOT change wearing the kilt!

Welcome aboard.
You're in kilt country for sure.
Down here in Arizona it only costs $15 to have your name changed legally...hope its cheap up there too.

My Dad grew up in Sedro Woolley. 'Matter of fact, I have friends there, and in Anacortes, too.

The nearest border crossing is Sumas but as the crow flies my home is only 5 miles from the boundry line near Silver Lake Road.

Cool! I have friends in Bellingham and Mt Vernon, and of course I do get to go to Vancouver B.C. once in a while for Kilt Night. Maybe we'll get the chance to meet one day. So will you be going North for Bears Dressed to Kilt show at Doolin's?
