    MOTG: Duncan's kilt?

I expect that the "media" category is the right place for this question...

...what tatran is Duncan's kilt on MOTG?

As a newbie I can I.D. some of the tartans but I just can't make out which one is Duncan's kilt. Perhaps an HDTV would solve the problem but that's an expense that I'm (gladly) putting off till the future.

I seem to remember that there was some scuttlebutt on the BBC website about said kilt and how long it lasted in the rigorous filming schedule and when it had to finally be replaced, etc. There was also some mention of a Glenbogle tartan being commissioned...anyone else ever hear about that?

I have to give Hamish Clark a lot of the credit for my thinking of wearing the kilt as a viable dress alternative and was thinking that I wouldn't mind getting one in that tartan as a homage to Duncan and MOTG.

Stewart Hunting, although if I remember correctly, Hamish Clark told our Hamish that it was a variant of the SH.

    Cheers,

It just looks a lot darker than the Stewart Hunting that I've been looking at...is there a Stewart Black or Stewart Black Hunting?

I think Todd is correct, I recall this discussion a way back. In fact, thinking it was SH caused me to buy a kilt in that tartan, I dont regret it, it a beautiful tartan, nice in PV too.

Stewart Hunting is a dark tartan, lot of green and black, although there are always lighter variants...
