Something for the Glenfiddich fans...
I caught bits of this on the local news this morning, sorry I can't tell you more...
One of the high-end liquor stores here apparently just bought a cask (?) of 1974 Glenfiddich scotch. I say cask because it looked like a huge still or something made of brass. They mentioned selling the scotch for $600/bottle, I believe, and that they had almost a half-million dollars worth of it. It is the only cask of it's vintage available in the world.

There was another mention of Glenfiddich in our local paper this morning. They are selling a 50 year bottle of single malt for $17,000. They are only selling limited quanities and have alotted 1 bottle for B.C.
