Pattern for Brian Boru Jacket?
Does anyone have a pattern for the Brian Boru Jacket? I have a sewing machine and time, I had just recently handstiched a kilt for a friend of mine, so I think I would have enough time to make a jacket... any patterns floating around?

Folkwear #152 has a PC jacket included:

The BB jacket looks just like the PC, but with Irish-themed buttons instead of Scottish-themed ones.

That's not true. The lapels and cuffs are completely different.

It wouldn't be that difficult to redraft the collar.

Wow!
First time I see a BB jacket....looks very stylish. I like the collar, cuffs and that chain.
So the BB is the Irish PC?

Yeah I would just like the pattern because I dont want a wool jacket. I dont wear wool often, not only that but my fiancee is allergic to wool, and we are ALWAYS together.

It looks more like an Argyll jacket, except with a shawl collar, and, of course, different buttons. I like it, it looks very formal.
Why did they say they couldn't make one?
