Is there/was there an Xmarks t-shirt?
Having come late to the party, is there or was there an Xmarks t-shirt?
Kilted Code Warrior and I were corresponding about how to put the word out about Xmarks at the local Highland Games or any other events that we might attend...I remember Graham's pavillion at his recent event...might be a bit presumptious of either of us to set up an Xmarks tent or anything like that so I thought that a dramatic Xmarks t-shirt might spread the word without being too overboard.

If there isn't, then there should be. I'd wear it.

I used to be a graphic artist, and if this kind of shirt is done well, it is the best advertisement possible after word of mouth.
Make it something my teenage boys would wear, and you'll never keep them in stock.
For the record, I'd love one!
I'm thinking a navy colored shirt, with Hank doing the rest.
Don't forget "xmarksthescot.com" conveniently silkscreened on one of the sleeves! Perfect for those walking by.

It's a bit hazy... but I seem to recall there being some sort of proprietary marketing issues involving another party. ??:

Yep, X Marks the Scot tee shirt exists and is being sold by caber dancer. Any new design would have to be looked at very carefully. You can see the shirt (and site) by looking in the X Market under the propoganda link.

I don't know if there are any on there but I know that it is easy to set up and put just about any pattern on a shirt you want.
I am not telling you to have a go make a shirt that might be a copyright issue
but i am say'n it could be done.
I have a couple shirts off Cafepress and the quality is real good for a T Shirt.

I've used Cafepress for some stuff and they've got a great turn-around time and a pretty good price.

I just looked at them, a t-shirt and a license plate. Niether of them say ".com" on them. They just look like a cute play on words; I wouldn't say they actually spread the word for the web-site.

I'd get in touch with Hank on this. He'd be the one to say yea or nay on it.
If you get an approval, I'd be interested, depending on cost of course.

Hank has an agreement with Caber Dancer on this. They let him use the X Marks the Scot name and logo on the site but they retain all the merchandising rights to it. Due to copyright restrictions if you want an X Marks shirt you'll have to buy it from Caber Dancer. This came up a long time back on the board.
