Any News on Stillwater's 2006 Line

A few month's ago someone reported that Stillwater was clearing out his inventory to make room for some new kilts. His inventory appears to be getting down pretty low so I was wondering if anyone has heard an update about the 2006 line.

Will there be any new tartans in the Heavy Weight Division?
Any modifications to the new line?
Any plans to cut prices further on what's left?

Please share any intel you may have "stumbled on"

The only thing I heard from Jerry was that the black shadow tartan heavyweight was going to be wool rather than acrylic. I think the price will be about the same for them $145 for the wool HW just like the blackwatch is now. Why don't you send him an e-mail? The guy is great about getting back to you.

I am well aware of all the changes, colors, prices and such but am not the owner of the company... so I really am not at liberty to reveal anything. My suggestion would be to email them direct and see what's "broadcastable".

The changes ARE well worth the wait!!! Jerry has (once again) done a wonderful job of answering the concerns and wants from the kilt-buying public. Eventhough Stillwater takes an unfair bashing from uninterested parties, they're still one of the all-time best buys in kilts.

Hit their site to see if you can get a "sneak peek" or atleast some answers for yourself. They're not as successful as they are now from just sitting around and taking orders! I would almost bet that there are more members with Stillwaters than any other maker (with UtiliKilts being the closest company).

Cavscout, I had noticed the same thing about their inventory. Had a friend that was interested in an entry level kilt (price wise) and when we went to check their store, not much was available. If what Sciuropterus has posted is true, the standards are now going to have the sewn the pleats sewn down (Yeah!!) and it actually looks like a different material, although hard to tell from the one picture. Should bode some good things for the HW's.

Oooooooh, that's what I'm talkin' about Sciuropterus! The changes you rolled out this year to bring your kilts into such competition with tanks was amazing and I was really hoping for this kind of move from you.

Please as soon as you can share more info on the new line, I'm all ears! Perhaps the military tartan line made it into the plan???????

D'oh, am I missing something? Is Sciuropterus actually (whisper it) Jerry? Or just a well connected relative?

Be nice to the newbie (just because I am chatty, doesn't mean I was here from the beginning!).
