    First solid

I logged onto one of my email accounts yesterday, and saw a series of messages from Kerry Tucker at "Kiltstore.net" to my wife. I asked her about and found out she (my wife) ordered Kilt store's solid black wool 6 yard kilt for my Christmas present. It won't arrive until near the end of January, but now I have a new reason to "jones" This will be my first non tartan kilt (unless you count the desert camo sportkilt that my son gave me." I don't even wear that one around the house because I can't get the pleats to hand right.

Too bad it won't arrive in time for Christmas. Your wife wasn't upset, I hope?

I found my first solid to be a bit of a "leap", actually, I was "pushed" by robert from RKilts, and I'm glad for his help.

While I love the colour of tartans, solids do open up new opportunities for kilts.

Again, what a great wife you have!
