    Choice

I definitely intend to buy a new Cilt/Kilt during 2006 as soon as finances allow. That will increase my collection to 3 . I was thinking of the Welsh National Tartan then I thought about some other options, which as it turns out, I think I will go along with.
My mothers maiden name was Nelson ... which is associated to the Macneil and Gunn Tartans. Both are nice .. who would choose which one? I like both, but cannot afford two Cilts/Kilts. My intial preference at the moment is for the Macneil.
The first one is Macneil Old & Rare and the second Gunn Ancient

    Thumbs up first opinion...

McNeill, ...(although Gunn Ancient has also that touch of classic elegance)

Ceaud mille failte! ( I think it was like that!, if not, sorry me! )

Derek, both look great but I have to agree with Sir Graham, the Gunn is the one. :-D

Both are great. I like the Mcneil but the Gunn is more subtle. Depends on whether you want it to catch the eye more or less....

MacNeil. The yellow stripe sets the other colors off nicely.

Go with your heart, I personally like the one with the bigger set and think it would look better on the cilt.

I'm kind of liking the MacNeil, but either one would be a great choice.

They are both excellent tartans, but I have to go with Gunn Ancient.
