Hi from Australia
Hi Everybody,
Just thought I'd take the opportunity to introduce myself...
I live in Sydney, Australia and am waiting on the delivery of my first kilt - 16oz traditional in Cornish National. Hopefully it will arrive in time for its first outing on Australia Day (January 26).
My background is Cornish, Scottish & Irish (as well as English & a smattering of German) so I have a lot of interesting tartans etc. that are related to my heritage.
My interests include music, travel, history & genealogy, and I look forward to corresponding with you all.
Regards,
troy

Welcome to the forum Troy, nice to see another Aussie here (there are far too many Americans ;);) )
You are among friends of the kilt here, and that's for sure.

Actually, there are more people from some American cities (or should I say Metro-areas) than your whole country!
Australia… That’s somewhere near Tasmania, right? ;-)

Yes, that's right - lots of people I know call it New Zealand's West Island ;-)

Troy,
Glad that you are here, so a big WELCOME from me. Hope that you enjoy yourself here, as I know I am enjoying myself. Also glad that you can keep our buddy Graham in line.

I know what you mean about the addiction - I haven't even received my first kilt yet and I'm already telling my wife about my 'next' kilt! (Irish Diaspora, if you're interested, followed by Clan Hume)
