    Strange comment

I am planning on going kilted to a family gathering this Friday, this will be the first time these family members will see me in a kilt. When I told my wife, she said I should not because "they don't deserve it." A little background is needed here. These people are my wife's family, and there has not always been smooth sailing between her and them. I am going to wear it anyway, because "I deserve it."

Wear it and "Give 'em better than they deserve!" Sort of like, "Heaping coals of fire on their heads."

Good on you , your right you do deserve to wear anything you want.
You must be true to yourself first and foremost.
Wish you luck but you won't need it.

If they act up, you could always give them the "Braveheart Salute."

Darn right. Let them think what they want. Heck, you might even make a convert or two and smooth those rough waters.
