    First kilted day at work

My first kilted adventure was to a Walmart a couple of weeks ago and that went well. Since then I've been on several kilted strolls and trips to various stores. So today I thought "What the heck - why not enjoy my day kilted at work."

To be honest, this is all easy stuff since I teach at a community college here in town - so the folks are fairly broad minded. Well, broad minded for Idaho anyway. Our students don't start their term till next week - so what the heck, why not?

It was a great day - I was just Phil in a kilt. Its all true - women LOVE kilts and most men don't know what the heck to think of them. Several folks said nice things and anyone who didn't like it was decent enough to keep their opinions to themselves. So all in all a GREAT day!

I'm new to all of this, so forgive me if I'm sharing "old news" here - but what the heck - I had such a day, I thought I'd share it.

    Thanks for letting me quack!

It's always great to hear of other's accomplishments. Congratulations on a great day at work.

Do you plan to wear it to work often?

This type of news never gets too old to hear. Way to go!

A fellow community college employee, eh? I work as a librarian and an adjunct history instructor at Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, Missouri -- which college are you at and what do you do, if I may be so bold?

I've worn my kilt on several occasions at work, and never had any problems with co-workers -- some of the students don't know what to make of it, but that's their problem.

    Cheers,

    Todd

I teach photography at North Idaho College in Coeur d Alene, Id. I talked to my wife about how the nice comments I received and she suggested I teach my first classes kilted - boy I love that woman! Yep, sounds like a plan to me!

Hey Phil in a Kilt, I don't care how old news that is, it definetly is great to hear. Congratulations in experiencing the joy of kilting.

Hmmm... You'll just have to do some kilt modelling for the class to practice.
