    Shoe Accessory

What does everybody think of these? Apparently, it it a flap that you lace onto your shoe to make it mimic the more expensive glenfinnan/culloden shoes.

It seems a little silly to me but then I am a fashion minimalist. If you have a nice pair of shoes on it seems like these could do nothing but muck up your look. If you are going for that full out 18th century look then cool.

I think they're great, if you're dressing like a Pilgrim for Thanksgiving.

Seriously, though, if you like the Pilgrim look, they make more sense than buying the shoes.

    buckles...

I have a pair that I wear when I'm in "full rig", along with my Argyll Hose. I get a lot of compliments about them, so don't judge a book by it's cover, gents!

What kind of shoes do you wear them with, Todd? I'm tempted to get a pair for "full rig" formal.
