    Neokilt for the jones

Well folks the jones has overtaken me and even though I feel I've lost 500 dollars to "he who must not be named", I want / need a new kilt and the Neokilt site looks about like what the doctor ordered (I'd tell you why I'm an obstetrician but it's too long a story, hilarious but too long).
My only dilemma now is Snow Camo or Black ....

Their conceal-carry pocket is brilliant. I am going to order one when I am 21 to carry the pistol I'll get on my 21st.

I’ve been curious about Neokilts for a while. They look nice, but I’ve not seen them mentioned here before. Opinions?

Josh himself is a very friendly/jovial guy.
I've seen some of his stuff close up, and it's quite nice - especially for the price.
When my group had it's Kilt Nigt a few months back, Josh was the only "local" vendor to show any support.
(We did get responses from many other kiltmakers from other parts of the country. Thanks guys!)

Consequently, I'd happily buy one of his non-traditional kilts, but I'd like to take a second look at his tartan styles.

He seems like a maker who is quite willing to work with the customer.

Oh dear! Why is it that in just about every thread nowadays, the matter of the carrying of guns has to be brought into the equation? It used not to be like this.

Hmmm... well, I was going to say something about a war way back in history, but I won't....

I won't mention what happened in France a few months ago, either, nor will I bring up what's currently happening in Denmark. Nor the silly American eccentricity called a "Bill of Rights." Nor will I say anything derogatory about a nation which puts on trial two popular political figures for the awful crime of speaking their minds.

Being of some English stock myself, I should have more of a taste for Marmite and Minis than for high-caliber firearms, but what can I say? I'm a product of this Western frontier in which I was raised. And that's all I have to say about that.

I like the idea of the lil concealed carry pocket for reasons other than firearms. (not that I'm against firearms, I've just been trained with knives is all) Anyway, I like the idea of a lil hidden pocket to hide a flask, or money, or any lil items really. Does anyone have a review of these kilts? I think next on my list is anothe USA kilt...but after that....

Can’t say that I have seen that many threads in which guns are brought up. As a police officer I carry a gun off duty, my dept requires me to do so. It gives me fits to try and conceal one in a kilt. I don’t want to wear a sporran the size of a briefcase to hold it and the rest of the stuff I carry, so a hidden pocket that would support the weight of a mid size handgun would be a blessing.
