That rat bastard 646guy told me about it the other day. Apparently its the place all the designers from Project Runway go to when they need stuff for thier various projects. Not nearly as cheap as the places on 39th (worsted wool for $5/yards!!!!!) but MUCH better organized with 2 floors of fabrics - i thought i had died & gone to heaven when i walked in....

They had several variations on this available - all $14/yard - with a few others patterns as well....

dangerous place - very dangerous place...

Plus they had TONs of leather scraps/offcuts in sizes big enough to make a sporran or two out of ... I have to stay out of that part of NYC!!!

I couldnt pick of the phone - the siren call of the fabric zone held me tight in its thrall and before i knew it i was trapped in a tartan tsunami

I wonder if I could borrow a yacht - there's a lot of nice big ones around here doing nothing for the winter.......

Is there a yacht haven or dock near 37th - or 39th?

The QM2 makes frequent trips to NYC....or it did....spent the night on it once after working a benefit there the night before...
