    Firewalls and Viewing Pics

    Not sure if this is helpful to anyone...means little to me...but got this from Nigel who runs the IMFF site where my gallery is. He helped me by adjusting the settings so that I'm able now to post pics from the IMFF gallery to the X Marks board.

    Even then some didn't get the pic or had to turn off their firewall to get the pic.

    Here's his suggestion...

    "They don't have to turn off their firewall, they have to stop their firewall
    (norton etc) blocking the 'HTTP Referrer Field' Norton etc breaks a great
    deal of websites with this frankly stupid default setting. "

    Even knowing this I wouldn't know what to do with it...maybe someone else does...

    I don't know either. Yesterday I had to turn my firewall off to see the Ren fair pic. Today I can see it with the firewall on. This proves beyond a doubt that P.C stands for Personal Confusor.

    I sometimes have to hit the refresh button to see a pic, or wait a few hours before it shows up.
