Around the time I got my first black kilt, Christmas 2002, I recall searcing "black.kilt". The number of hits was maybe around 100, certainly small enough that I could check all the entries and decide which sites to visit. Today, keying in "black.kilt" on Yahoo Search came up with 16,800 hits. I wonder to what extent this is due to the growth of the internet and how much is due to increased interest in single colour men's kilts.

That was a little over three years ago, about the time I became a full timer on the Kilt wearing front. So probably you may be on to something, I know a lot of people I hang out with have started to ask serious questions.

I say it's a bit of both...but that, of couse, as Nick said, is in accordance with the prophecy...kilts have definitely become a bit more popular in the past few years....then again maybe it was Vin Diesel in that black leather kilt...

You guys are right, it's all in accordance with the prophacy. I think it was Nostradamas, maybe quatrain XXIII, something about the world being taken ofer by a group of very intelligent guys who are members of a great and wonderful organization which he calls the kltd knights of X Marx. you really have to study the verse closely, but that isd what it means
