Made My Day
I've been full time kilted since early/middle August of 05. The community college I work for has a Scottish president. She was born and raised there, then moved here after college. So far, she's never commented on my kilts. I was hoping I hadn't offended her and her traditions. I had heard that she fancies a man in a kilt, but never a comment.
As I was leaving work today, I saw her on her way in. She stopped and said to me, "It does my heart gud to see all those kilts".
Wear it with pride, lads, wear it with pride!

That was a great compliment I work at a high school and when I wear a kilt I get both good and bad mostly young boys trying to look tough in front of their pals or students that ask in the middle of class "is it true what they say about men in kilts"then principal will walk past and wait at the door to see wait my next comment is.The staff at the high school seem to like my kilts.
But that sounds like a big feather in your cap.

Isn't life wonderful? Could you ask for any better acceptance?
Kilt on! Its the little encounters that mean the most.

I dont have enough kilts to go full time, and even if, for some reason my girlfriend likes to see me in pants...I dunno why...women I tell you. So, wherever I work in the future, I hope I have the same acceptance you do.

Congrats!
Find an excuse to go formal sometime soon, and show them what fine attire formal kilt wear is!

Congratulations. You could not ask for a finer compliment. Indeed, kilt on and wear it with pride.

High Praise indeed. Congratulations. If I got a comment like that I would smile so wide that I think my wife might start to question what I'd been up too
