    My new kilt...

An 8 yards 16oz (Strome) "Isle of Skye" tartan. Fabric and kilt by Lochcarron.

Took them a whopping 12 weeks, but it was worth the waiting

    25 pleats, almost 4" deep.

A beautiful tartan. Looks great on you. Really like your color coordination. Nice matchup of the flashes with the green in the kilt. Also demonstrates how well oatmeal hose work with just about any tartan. I'm sure you will get a lot of enjoyment from that kilt.

I fell in love with this tartan while on the Isle of skye last year.

    Robin

First of all, you look fantastic in your new kilt - and - you are killing me!!!!!!!! I ordered that exact tartan fabric last week and have been trying not to think about its delivery date ever since. Now it seems like my Isle of Skye kilt is forever away

Now I've my beloved crew cut again

    Sporran: down 1 hole...

Kiltpin...the St. Justin "Spear knot" (forgot to attach it, so it's not on the pictures)

I'm still trying to find grey hoses to match this sweater, but charcoal is the only grey I found so far
