    National Kilt Day

Just a reminder, although most of us here should be wearing a kilt anyway, for those of you who don't wear one every day, should wear it today, Feb. 25, according to www.kiltday.com

I will wear my black Survival from Utilikilt tonight at a Taize prayer gathering, and to a movie - "Brokeback Mountain."

I had forgotten but I wore My Gordon Kilt into Burger King and all the Mexicans had a good laugh and I asked If they honered their heritage and one girl said Yes and I told her So did I. She translated it to the others and they quit laughing.

What do you mean Graham, in your corner of Tasmania everyone knows that it is Kilt Day.

I got several thumbs up today.

This happens sometime but I have to say that I live right in the heart of east Los Angeles as I am married to a wonderful Mexican woman and am part of a great family. When I wear my kilt anywhere in southern California I get some comments in Spanish and some in English but they have all been positive. My relatives didn't take very long to accept the fact that their son-in-law wears a kilt and my mother-in-law who is from Mexico is actually proud of it and at family gatherings she seems to beam when friends ask her about "the man in the kilt".
My only problem has been the Mexican cuisine and my waistline!

    Chris.
