X Marks kilt pin

Any ideas about an X-marks kilt pin? I think that would be an inexpensive item we could wear to festivals and games denoting ourselves as members of these forums. Nothing too obvious, but rather something subtle we could use to identify ourselves in a group. I have no idea what some members look like.

I saw that thread, but it just ends with another person offering to buy one. Was there not enough commitments, or was the run made?

There has been a run of the Xmarks kilt pin before. Kilted Code Warrior is getting the information together for another run. whenever he gets it all together, be sure to get your name in the hat if you would like one.

Keep in mind that Kilted Code Warrior is at a Kilted Konvention in LV this week so I doubt too much time will be available to him. He'll be too busy konverting people in the banking industry to kilts.

If there is a problem with getting a run together I'm quite happy to do one myself if there is eneough interest, which there seems to be. I am apparently one of the few silversmiths within this fine selection of kilted folk. But I'm based in Australia so there's a bit of freight involved for those who aren't.
At very least I'm available to make adjustments.

Hello all,

While I am in Vegas this week (actually leaving tomorrow morning), I am still working on this. To keep everybody in the loop, I am still working through the paperwork, mechanics, administrivia! Hank coordinated the last run, but I am taking over for this one, so we have some details to work through.

I will post a new thread when we have everything ready.
