New member checking in

Hello all,

Recently joined after checking the site and forum out for a few days. Glad to see there is a place where kilt wearing, and kilt making experience can be passed on to newbies like myself. I haven't purchased a kilt yet, but have definately made up my mind to do so. I'm getting a little resistance from my fiance, but I think she'll come around, and really end up liking it. She liked it when I wore traditional Japanese clothing when we visited her family and friends, so... Anyway, she hasn't much choice in the matter.

you did not post where you are located but Did you visit Japan to wear the clothing? So now you will have to visit Scotland to wear the Kilt?
